Hi guys welcome to my blog!
I'm so excited about today's post (I don't know why). The previous week was a roller coaster filled amazing moments for me. I'm thankful to God that I keep learning and growing.

I fell very ill after the heavy storm that caught up with us during our NYSC biometrics registration, but thank God I am much better.
On Tuesday, I wasn't feeling up to it, but o knew I had to attend the Fashion Focus event held at the British Council courtesy of the Lagos Fashion and Design Week. I got there at 2:26pm because the event was slated to start at 2:30 pm but ended up starting at 3:39 pm; talk about african time. Shortly after, the organisers apologised and it kicked off.

Let me state that I learnt a lot from Mrs Omoyemi Akerele aka StyleHouseFiles and I am grateful I didn't miss George Okoro's talk. They both inspire me, a lot! 

 Mrs Akerele and Me. I got to have a little chat with her. This woman right here has a good heart, plus she's a believer of Jesus Christ. Oops! Forgot to mention that she's also a lawyer. She ditched law for fashion. She's living the life of her dreams!

You'd definitely be seeing a lot of changes here on the blog,as I will put what I learnt from that event to practice.

I had a little issue with what to wear for the event in the morning, so I asked God. Me and God have the weirdest conversations.

Me: God I'm ill,and I don't know what to wear please help me. I need something to heat me up and not look like a stuffed animal.

God: Bring out that bright red sweater from your box and match it with your blue gown. Red and blue go... You can wear tights to keep your legs warm.

Me: Wonderful! It'll give the illusion of a red sweater and a blue skirt. Thank you.

I met some amazing people; one of them took these amazing photos(I wished I brought my tripod stand, you will never know the struggle for good lighting).

2 weeks ago I treated myself to some TLC after Mass.

 

My friends at the office found this nice spot to eat without breaking the bank at Maitama, so I joined them. The food there is lit!! The camera couldn't get the others, next time though.

Yesterday, out of boredom I made Nigerian Zobo.

أنا متحمس جدا حول وظيفة اليوم (أنا لا أعرف لماذا). كان الأسبوع السابق السفينة الدوارة مليئة لحظات مذهلة بالنسبة لي. أنا ممتن لله أن أظل التعلم و النمو.

سقطت مريضا جدا بعد العاصفة الشديدة التي اشتعلت معنا خلال تسجيل القياسات الحيوية لدينا في نيويورك.
في يوم الثلاثاء، لم أكن أشعر بذلك، ولكن س عرفت أنني اضطررت لحضور فعاليات فوكوس فوكوس التي أقيمت في المجلس الثقافي البريطاني من مجاملة أسبوع لاغوس للأزياء والتصميم. وصلت إلى هناك في 2:26 بعد الظهر لأن الحدث كان من المقرر أن تبدأ في 2:30 بعد الظهر ولكن انتهى بها بدءا من 3:39 مساء. الحديث عن الوقت الأفريقي. بعد فترة وجيزة، اعتذر المنظمون وبدأت.

اسمحوا لي أن أذكر أنني تعلمت الكثير من السيدة أومويمي أكيريل الملقب ستايلهوسفيلز وأنا ممتن لم أفوت حديث جورج أوكورو. كلاهما يلهمني، الكثير! كنت بالتأكيد سوف نرى الكثير من التغييرات هنا على بلوق، وأنا سوف وضع ما تعلمت من هذا الحدث 

لممارسة.

كان لي قضية صغيرة مع ما لارتداء لهذا الحدث في الصباح، لذلك سألت الله. لي والله أغرب المحادثات.

لي: الله أنا مريض، وأنا لا أعرف ما لارتداء الرجاء مساعدتي. أحتاج إلى شيء لتسخين لي ولا تبدو مثل الحيوانات المحنطة.

الله: احضر هذا سترة حمراء مشرقة من المربع الخاص بك وتطابق مع ثوبك الأزرق. الأحمر والأزرق يذهب ... يمكنك ارتداء الجوارب للحفاظ على ساقيك الدافئة.

لي: رائع! انها سوف تعطي الوهم من سترة حمراء وزرقاء تنورة. شكرا.

التقيت بعض الناس مذهلة. واحد منهم أخذت هذه الصور المدهشة (تمنيت أحضرت حامل ترايبود بلدي، وأنك لن تعرف النضال من أجل إضاءة جيدة).
