Hello Loves! Glad to have you here, welcome to today's post. If you missed the last one on Saturday, you can catch up by clicking here Have you noticed the new things on the site? Actually, they're not really new I've had them here for a while now; I just tweaked them a little, you know me... We're knee ankle deep into summer, and well some of us need inspiration on what to wear to the office. This post is about how I style this red and black plaid skirt to the office. I waited close to 8 years to be able to wear this skirt becuase I used to be fat. It actually has a jacket, but the jacket is too big for me now so I use my black blazer(which I forgot at home when I went to shoot) with it when necessary. First Look:  I use a not so see through black long sleeve chiffon top. It's definitely a serious look for an uptight office. Sometimes I complete this look with my black flats from Dunes. Second Look: I mostly throw on my black jacket when ro

Quote of the Day: Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present- Jim Rohn. Good evening guys! Welcome to my blog :) if you're here for the first time, you might want to read our welcome post here . If you're a seasoned reader thank you so much, I appreciate. Happy 4th of July to my readers from the United States of America(from my blog  analytics you guys make up close 60% of my traffic so it's only fair I wish you a happy celebration). I almost forgot I was supposed to post today when I came back from work. If you've read this post here , It's no news that I use relaxer for my hair. But what you might not know is that I transi tioned from thoroughly relaxing my hair to having texlaxed hair. I just apply the relaxer to my new growth and keep a strict time limit on how long the relaxer gets to stay on my hair. To think of it, I should do an update on my hair routine, like his one . Quote of the Day: Art should disturb the comfortable, and comfort the disturbed.  Hi guys! How was your weekend? Mine was a bit productive in that I pushed myself out of my comfort zone to take pictures for the blog. I didn’t use a photographer though, I made use of what I had. My camera and a tripod stand I purchased a while back for my YouTube channel came in handy. What casual clothes do you find yourself wearing lately? I remember this day like it was yesterday. We had made up our minds to ditch the couch potato life and explore a bit of our city. Call us crazy because we didn’t leave the house until it was almost three o’clock in the afternoon. Earlier that day we had a brief, unconventional meeting that come what may, we must tour our city. Everyone was finally ready just before three, so we set out on an adventure I will never forget. We were definitely favoured by God to get passes to where we went to. To say that we laughed and had fun is an understatement.

How to Stop Relaxed Hair Breakage with Simple DIY Steps

Image
Hello Love! How are you doing? A lot has gone down in my life since the last post. I had to tackle a copyright infringement on Instagram , and, generally some other stuff on life. Today I will be showing you a major tip to reduce/stop hair breakage. I give God the glory for the knowledge of this tip. I refuse to take credit for it, seeing that some of my YouTube sisters have been swearing by it for a long time coming now.  Relax, and enjoy this post. If you are new, I urge you to read our Welcome page ,in order to familiarise yourself with stuff that happens on Lily of Nigeria. So, sometime in January, I went to a beauty store, and purchased a Very popular brand of Jamaican Black Castor Oil, and started applying it to my hair. Ore mi, to tell you that I lost A LOT of hair is an understatement. I shed tears mehn.
