What I wore to my Friend's Call to Bar Dinner

"Please remember, no African time. I want all my friends to arrive early so we can take pictures." She said

Hi guys! Welcome :) how's your day going? Before today's post let me fill you in a bit on what I just did. I watched the entire live session of the OJ Simpson Parole; I even tweeted it. In a way, I was happy for him(in that he can spend his last days in the midst of his family and friends).

A lot of people haven't quite forgiven him for the jury's decision in his 90s trial (very obvious from the way some CNN commentators flogged the already litigated issues).
Comment your thoughts on what you think of the approval of OJ Simpson's parole..
I can't believe it's one week already since we turned up for my colleague's call to Bar Dinner. If you follow me on instagram, you'd have seen a sneak peek of today's post. Yup! I've been posting pictures on instagram for a while. I couldn't more proud of her.

The event took place the Crossover restaurant Wuse, Abuja. The food was over the moon delicious. Next time my family comes to Abuja I'd take them there for fancy dining.
I totally recommend Crossover restaurant Wuse if you're looking for a tucked in fancy(not over the top) place with good food. That garlic fried rice was lit,at the end of the dinner, your girl was pregnant with a food baby!

Last week, because I know how extra PHCN/AEDC (Power companies) can be, I woke up extra early to bring out, and iron two gowns from my box (I hoped to select one later in the evening after work).
In typical fashion, I ended up with neither of them. I wore one that had been hanging in my wardrobe for a while now and it didn't even need ironing(so much for waking up early).

Have you ever been in a situation like this? Comment and let me know.

The gown is from a Turkish fashion house(no need to talk too much, y'all know Turks don't play with embroidery and details). It weighs a ton!
Asides the fact that the inner chemise like thingy kept shifting one side, I loved wearing it and had no regrets whatsoever. The gown comes with a customised bra inside, thank God it was my cup size. All my Naija aunties that read this blog I love you
Have a beautiful week.
Peace and love,
Alexandra.
