Quote of the Day: See ye a man diligent in his work? He shall stand before Kings, he shall not stand before mean men.-Porverbs 22:29. Hi! My name is not Lily, but I run Lily of Nigeria as the Editor in Chief. This post is long due. I would like you to know that I don't blog to get free stuff. For Christ's sake bloggers are not peasants! By the grace of God, the choice of the Council of Legal Education and Body of Benchers, I am a lawyer and have been called to the bar. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body -Ephesians 4:25. Hello fruitcake! Come right in, I've got a great post prepared for you today :) What was your weekend like? Did you have the Monday blues yesterday? Haha see it this way, Friday's just two days away. This past weekend I got to try out Abuja's most talked about sharwama. Yup, you guessed right, from Chicken Capitol. However, that is not what today's post is about(I know, I'm such a tease * TongueOut *). In my previous instagram post before yesterday's one I told you I was going to review the contents of my bloggerpoint goody bag here . Before I continue, I want to urge you to read my previous blog post here and 'Like' my Facebook page here . We just passed the 500 benchmark, thank God. So, the first product I tried was Desire Natural Luxury Facial toner. My first impressions: Which

All White Everything: My OOTD Review from the Bloggerpoint Abuja Brunch

It's a sunny clear day here in Abuja. Hi babe! Thanks for stopping by. Currently, I'm eating boiled white and yellow corn with coconut at the spot ,a secret place known to people who work in my department and the architects that designed the building. Remember my last post? I promised to share the details of my outfit of the day to the Bloggerpoint brunch. Please consider this blog post a promise kept. After giving myself the nudge and a host of reasons why I needed to pay N5000 to attend a brunch with other bloggers, I knew I had to find what to wear. The only white outfits I had were my white Tee shirt for Community Development Service(CDS) and a pair of white shorts I used in camp. The said shorts were in a "things I'm not wearing in Abuja bag" chilling in my room in Lagos. The only other outfit I had was a short white gown heavily embellished with black sequins and beads. "that will have to do, it's a one day event" I chatted with Sarah

Under what circumstances would you forgive your beloved blogger for being away for so long? I hope life has been good to you. Click to Follow Me on Bloglovin How did you find filling out the forms in my previous post? I just wanted to know what sort of things you'd rather see on the blog and get to know you better. If you didn't fill it, it's not too late; to do so click here. I am sorry, beyond words sorry. Y'all know that I'm currently doing my youth service, believe me when I say during this hiatus I was tested with fire. But by the grace of God, I'm back, and better! So, about 2 weeks ago I attended a blogger brunch hosted by the Bloggerpoint. I posted some sneak peaks on my instagram account, and early hints in my instastories. The brunch started at 12:30pm. Your girl got there at 12:56 pm because I couldn't find the exact spot where the lounge and bar is located(I know, I'm trying but I need to go out more). I was totally blown away.

Quote of the Day: Ask and it will be give unto you, see and you will find.-Matthew 7:7.  Hi guys welcome to my blog! I'm so excited about today's post (I don't know why). The previous week was a roller coaster filled amazing moments for me. I'm thankful to God that I keep learning and growing. I fell very ill after the heavy storm that caught up with us during our NYSC biometrics registration, but thank God I am much better. On Tuesday, I wasn't feeling up to it, but o knew I had to attend the Fashion Focus event held at the British Council courtesy of the Lagos Fashion and Design Week. I got there at 2:26pm because the event was slated to start at 2:30 pm but ended up starting at 3:39 pm; talk about african time. Shortly after, the organisers apologised and it kicked off. Let me state that I learnt a lot from Mrs Omoyemi Akerele aka StyleHouseFiles and I am grateful I didn't miss George Okoro's talk. They both inspire me, a lot!
