WORKING FROM HOME| Super Comfy and Elegant Outfit Inspirations I Actually wear || Lily of Nigeria Lockdown Series
Quote of the Day: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.- 2 Chronicles 7:14.

My friends!!!!! I am back again today with a sought after post, work from home outfits featuring loungewear. I received some loungewear from FemmeLuxe! It is not news that are all staying at home. However, it is for a good reason. Most of us are pretty occupied with either work or academic pursuits, or both while in our loungewear. In today's stay at home series, I'm sharing what I wear to stay at home nowadays.
WORKING FROM HOME| Super Comfy and Elegant Outfit Inspirations I Actually wear || Lily of Nigeria Lockdown Series
Working from home this quarantine/isolation period had me in denim bumshorts (channeling my  inner Beyonce HBCU performance), my black leggings, and flimsy house tops. These outfits were kindly supplied by Femme Luxe. The items I have picked out are truly feminine, and will had me feeling like a stay at home Princess in the great indoors!

These loungewear have in truth, become my daily work wear except when I'm on professional video calls. Remember our last post (HERE) they listened and have provided a dress inspired by that Black PU Leopard Print Organza Mesh Sleeve Corset Crop Top which you can shop (here).

Regardless, this lockdown has availed me the opportunity of doing things and exploring certain aspects of myself; such as: launching my podcast, exploring and dwelling in my femininity (it's an actual word you guys, go look it up),  discovering I LOVE designing banners for people, rediscovering Westlaw (if you know, you know), brushing up on my French (Je m'appelle Alexandra), and learning Russian (I know what you're thinking)! I am so grateful for everything, and everyone in my life. And, these days, I take my meditation and attraction process very seriously whilst remaining firm on Christ my solid rock. I encourage you to do your own personal research into the law of attraction (however, like many things there is a very thin line to be wary of).

Thank you to everyone who voted in my IG stories. According to Femmeluxe, those two items sold out and they weren't able to send them to me...

Rose Coloured Loungewear Set (SHOP HERE)

I love the way the loungewears are in matching colors, very girly.

On the website, I really thought the rose coloured loungewear was going to be my fave, but the brown one pleasantly surprised me. However, they are both of good quality and the packaging this time was better.

Also, no animal hairs in any of the outfits this time around thank God (if you read my previous post here you know what I'm talking about).

Brown Loungewear Set (SHOP HERE)

This brown loungewear makes me feel so comfortable and I get a lot of work done in it. Also, the material is a wee bit stretchy. The material is also really good y'all. To be honest I am blown away by these second set of outfits which I received. I digress.

The major differences between this loungewear from Femmeluxe and the rose colored loungewear are the neck style and the fact that the brown one does not have that belt thingy the rose colored loungewear has, and it doesn't have a pocket too. The finishing of both sets are very good.

Fluffy Loungewear Dress (SHOP HERE)

I chose this dress because everything about it screams comfort. It reminds me of sheep wool, but its actually super light weight. I went a bit further in choosing one two sizes bigger than me because I wanted something loose for maximum comfort, and the fact that I'm pleasantly extra like that. It's sooo soft, fluffy, comfortable, and warm!

I paired it with the above mentioned black leggings for this photo.

Y'all this dress will heat you up in 2 minutes. I definitely recommend this loungewear if you live in a really chilly place. It gave me a lot of Lorna Luxe vibes because I've seen her in something like this and you guys know I love her.

You can see what it looks like inside from this picture.

Only Con: The major downside for me is the finishing on the sleeves and hem area.

I appreciate you a lot for coming here every week! My analytics have skyrocketed and I have you to thank for it. Please stay safe and remember to wash your hands, keep them away from your face, flee from people who come too close in public places (when you go to get groceries or essentials), be kind to the totally amazing people who have kept this country running by going to work daily regardless of the virus.

Forgive me for the long time no post here on the blog I've been very busy in the non-virtual world. If you follow me on Instagram you would have noticed the hiatus there as well. Aswani is one of the most popular second-hand market (aka bend down select ) in Lagos. My curiosity about Aswani market began last year when someone talked about it in a passing small talk. It wasn’t the first time I had heard of the market. I grew up(for a while in FESTAC town) so I knew the market existed, but I had never been there. I made up my mind to go and see for myself. You know your girl is a curious-kitty with a heart that constantly longs for adventures. So, I discuss

I hope you enjoy today's post. The Day that Changed Everything It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Externship had come to an end and we were ready to get on with it. By the dates on the calendar, we were to start our bar final exams on the 28th of August and end on the 1st of September, 2017. My study calendar had factored in those days. I was prepared to be do

My mother's people have a saying that the best time to find out if a woman is truly beautiful is during the harmattan season,  because you'll get to see her real skin/true beauty. Happy new month guys! It's that time of the year again when we begin to think of how best to stop our skin from drying out and breaking. You might find this post helpful if you plan on coming to Nigeria/west Africa between November-February. Click to Follow Me on Bloglovin People in other parts of the world go through winter, West Africans go through the dry and most times unforgiving harmattan. Regardless, the dry season as it is generally called is my favourite season. From dry skin to dusty looking skin to severe cases of broken skin with sores, if you have lived/live in Nigeria then you most likely have a harmattan skin story. To prepare your skin for this period, it's best you review your beauty regimen and find out what works best for you, and check in with your dermatologist if
