Welcome to today’s post. It rained cats and dogs yesterday so the weather here in Lagos is subtle and cool. What’s the weather like where you live?
Today’s post is not a fashion post per se, it’s more of a lifestyle post. If you follow me on Instagram here (please go and do so now), you may/may not have seen my most recent post; where I gave you babes a heads up on today’s post. 1.Call them: Try to reach out to them. Nothing brings back memories than hearing your friend’s voice. Distance should never be an issue in friendships that mean that world to you; unless you see this as an opportunity to cut off ties with that person.
2.Make A Plan To See Them Eye To Eye:
You can pick a mutual location you both enjoy, or one you have been longing to visit and meet up there. TIP: You can write out a list of things you’d li…
Hi Babes! How is your day going? Great I hope.
A while ago, I took on a personal challenge and posted everyday on Instagram for about 27 days or thereabout. The results were mind blowing. I was shook y'all. I decided to do a post to share some of the things I found out with you :)
1. There is an untapped amount of traffic waiting for influencers it's crazy.
2. Instagram is a two way road. Once you settle down and figure out the ever changing
Quote of the day: I will give you thanks, for You answered me;You have become my salvation.- Psalm 118:21.
Seasons greetings honey! Welcome to today's post. Do you have a hint of what you'll get for Christmas tomorrow? As a day one fan, I'm planning on going for O B O aka Davido's 30 Billion concert. That'll be my present to myself. What do you plan on gifting yourself? Tell me by commenting.
Here's what my life has been like lately: Planning on turning up for Omo Baba Olowo himself! Click to Follow Me on BloglovinMarvelled at how good my hair beads turned out. Right Now I Need two new high heel shoes in gold and black respectively. Noticing the little things of life. I Bought some things during the November black Friday sales. Do you think I should do a haul post? Disgusted that Samsung doesn't authorise the sale of the C9 Pro in Nigeria. Hoping to Meet Nyane Lebajoa soon. Still giggling at a coincidence that occurred. Hey guys! Welcome to 2018(I know i'm late it's the 17th day after all). Y'all, we are now live on www.lilyofnigeria.com ! The domain was a present. I also changed the theme of the blog to one that loads faster, and consumes less data (less than 2MB) at the homepage. All for you.
I recorded a lot of successes on this blog last year, and a major heartbreak. Along the line, my host company and the domain company had serious glitches that caused this blog to load very slowly, and on some browsers, it didn't load at all. This was a heavy burden to bear and discouraged me from blogging as often as I would have hoped.
I have continued to meet a lot of people, and brands as a result of this blog, for which I am grateful.
If you are a regular here on the blog, you'll know we don't do resolutions, we do goals. This year, I have some serious goals set for Lily of Nigeria, and I hope I achieve them. All of them.
Quote of the Day: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto you. Hi, dolls! Welcome to today's post. How are you doing? Forgive me for the long time no post here on the blog I've been very busy in the non-virtual world. If you follow me on Instagramyou would have noticed the hiatus there as well. It's been one thing or the other for your girl Lily of Nigeria, but our God is faithful to the pulling down of strongholds.
Aswani is one of the most popular second-hand market (aka bend down select) in Lagos. My curiosity about Aswani market began last year when someone talked about it in a passing small talk. It wasn’t the first time I had heard of the market. I grew up(for a while in FESTAC town) so I knew the market existed, but I had never been there. I made up my mind to go and see for myself. You know your girl is a curious-kitty with a heart that constantly longs for adventures. So, I discussed it with a trusted family m…
