Tips for Beginners and Newbies on How to Start a Blog/Take it to the Next Level

Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.- Proverbs 22:29.

Hi guys! For the longest time I have had this post in mind to share with you. It struck me this month when someone said are you happy with this hobby?  What do you want out of it? Is it a hobby or a business?
Basically, it all depends on what you want out of your blog at the end of the day.  #SpeakingIntoExistence this blog will feed me, and pay my bills this year. I don't know or care to know how but it will happen.  If you've reached this stage,it means you've transitioned from your blog being just a hobby to it being a business. Babe, I encourage you to keep reading this post, because I have several tips to share with you.
1. You have to be determined and intentional. Make up your mind, and give it your all. It's your business after all. This includes finding a solid name you'll stick with and be proud of in five years time *wink*
2. Make a plan…

Hello Children of God! Long time no post. I have been working Behind the Scenes to bring you great content here on the blog and on my social media channels. I know you've noticed my consistency on Instagram, here I kid you not, it's slowly but surely working out. Thank you for you for your likes as well on my Facebook page. I would not be a content cretor without your support. My vision for this Lily of Nigeria is that it continues to inspire people, and goes viral on the internet for good this year so that our family increases.

My first YouTube video for the year went up yesterday. It's a Mukbang video, so i am not expecting all of you to like it. But, just in case you want to take a peek (please help your girl by subscribing to my channel), I will leave a link below for you.
So, a mukbang is a video where people cook(sometimes), and eat. Basically you watch people eat large/medium amounts of food over the internet. Some take it to the next level by highlighting the sou…

HAPPY 2018!

Hey guys! Welcome to 2018(I know i'm late it's the 17th day after all). Y'all, we are now live on ! The domain was a present. I also changed the theme of the blog to one that loads faster, and consumes less data (less than 2MB) at the homepage. All for you.

I recorded a lot of successes on this blog last year, and a major heart break. Along the line, my host company and the domain company had serious glitches that caused this blog to load very slowly, and on some browsers it didn't load at all. This was a heavy burden to bear, and discouraged me from blogging as often as I would have hoped.

I have continued to meet a lot of people, and brands as a result of this blog, for which I am grateful.

If you are a regular here on the blog, you'll know we don't do resolutions, we do goals. This year, I have some serious goals set for Lily of Nigeria, and I hope I achieve them. All of them.

Just in case you are unaware, I am on YouTube Better still…

How to Organize and Declutter Your Wardrobe

Quote of the day: Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.- Hebrew 4:16.

Good day my lovelies! Today's post is one some of you might relate to.  Before we delve in, I’m curious, drop a comment and let me know how you arrange/organize your own wardrobe. I learned that certain people can tell a bit of your personality based on how you maintain your wardrobe (wonder if that's true).
My current wardrobe is divided into three major spaces. The right and left wing were made for hanging clothes, while the middle section was made for folded clothes, shoes, bags and toiletries (at least that's what I use it for). Each pair of shoe is cleaned and put in a bag, and kept at the bottom of the middle wardrobe. I also keep my polish and brush there as well.
My bags placed in dust bags and are kept in the middle of the middle wardrobe. Toiletries like perfumes, tissues, wipes, makeup kit and beauty pro…

Hi Babes! How is your day going? Great I hope. A while ago, I took on a personal challenge and posted everyday on Instagram for about 27 days or thereabout. The results were mind blowing. I was shook y'all. I decided to do a post to share some of the things I found out with you :)

1. There is an untapped amount of traffic waiting for influencers it's crazy.
2. Instagram is a two way road. Once you settle down and figure out the ever changing

Hi Babes! Welcome to today's post, and happy Sunday. Let me start by saying that if you were hoping this post will be one to list the benefits of drinking the good ol' H2O aka water to you, you will be disappointed. There are a lot of posts on the internet that breaks that down for you, I encourage you to search for them and read up.
This blog post however will serve as an inspiration,or guide to assist you drink water, or more water. Back in Uni, I learnt the benefits of water from a friend of mine after she shared one of her weight loss tips that became a healthy lifestyle change for her, water. I'd be sharing that in a future post.
Let's get down to today's post.
1. Buy a fancy/portable water bottle. Because of its portable nature, you can carry it anywhere and it can fit well into your bag. I prefer acrylic bottles to flasks because over time, there's this taste flasks gives to water that I don't like. But if you prefer flasks, by all means go ahead.
